Woah. I like it. It reminds me of "Horizon" a bit. I sort of agree with ShoeLacer47 about the melody, but damn this is great. Keep it up! :D :D

Geoplex responds:

I was a bit lazy melodically with this one, haha. But I'll make more. So much more. Thanks!

Great job. The melody switches up at a couple moments during the song which I found to be very refreshing. Only thing I wish were slightly less generic pads and chord progression, but it's not a huge problem. I love it! :D

Geoplex responds:

Pads were strings in this, mostly, though I was using the same LFO pad I used in Horizon. I don't personally think that the chord prog is too generic, though it's definitely a bit repetitive :P

Thanks for the feedback!

Damn. Have you ever thought of submitting this to Monstercat? This is probably one of the most professional sounding songs I've heard on Newgrounds.

Lockyn responds:

As much as we are flattered to hear that you think this is Monstercat level, I dunno if we'd even be graced with a reply from them x) I'm so happy you think so though, and I'm glad you enjoyed that much. Cheers mate!

I like the bass, the melody, but the chord progression got repetitive. I hope you have a DnB song coming up soon for us! They are the BOMB!

Geoplex responds:

Yeah, it's a symptom of the length unfortunately. More a mixing exercise, this :P

I am currently planning to make some DnB, yes ;) though I will likely be straying from the style I've developed for myself in the interest of eventually submitting some stuff to Liquicity.

Thanks for the feedback

Amazing. Seriously amazing. This is something I would expect from Monstercat. Well done sir

MrStr8face responds:

Thank you! :D

Great as always. The melody is great and although it is somewhat similar to the melody in "Luigi's Ballad", it has its own unique twists that makes it stand out within the song. Keep it up!

Geoplex responds:

The first melody bears the most similarity, but I did my best to make it my own :P

Thanks!

Man, that was interesting, but in a very good way! This legit sounds like something from Monstercat. Only problem I had was that the intro part was a minute long, which I dislike, however, other than that small detail, everything else was great (especially that reverb)

Lockyn responds:

Holy that huge compliment doe ^^ Thanks man, really appreciate the sentiment :D Intros are not my thing. LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed the reverb and the song despite that intro xD Cheers iBurger!

Once again, Geoplex takes it away with an amazing song! Don't worry about using a similar structure over and over again. What matters most is how the song actually sounds and feels, and so far, you've nailed it with all of your recent songs. Keep up the good work :)

Geoplex responds:

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Listened to this about 15 times. I guess it's time to leave a review. It's made it to my personal all time favorite songs! Love the melody and drums.

Geoplex responds:

Thanks.

I love the melody and the atmosphere that goes with it, however, it does appear to gets a bit too jumpy at 1:51 with the plucks. Good job overall.

Geoplex responds:

Too jumpy? I'm not sure what you mean actually :/

Thanks for the feedback though.

Welcome to my page! Enjoy listening to music and I occasionally post my own songs that I have made, however, I am not too serious in music producing, so don't expect too much from me! :D
